Tool and Avenged Sevenfold lead the lineup of hard rocking acts heading to Sacramento for the 2016 Monster Energy Aftershock Festival.

The lineup has just been announced for the fourth annual Monster Energy Aftershock Festival.

The Monster Energy Aftershock Festival truly became one of the monster rock festivals in 2013 and will be back for its third year this September.

Performance times for the highly anticipated Monster Energy's Aftershock Festival have been announced, with Avenged Sevenfold closing out the all-star rock festival. The event takes place Sept. 14-15 at Sacramento's Discovery Park, and it will feature such diverse acts as P.O.D., Papa Roach, Megadeth, Korn, and Buckcherry.

Ernie Ball announced recently that it will be sponsoring its 17th annual Battle of the Bands this summer. The band that wins will get to play on the Ernie Ball Stage during Monster Energy’s Aftershock Music Festival happening in Sacramento, Calif. on Sept. 14 and 15.

Schecter Guitars recently announced that they will be the official guitar sponsor of the highly anticipated 2013 Aftershock Festival. The two-day metal fest starts Sept. 14 at Discovery Park in Sacramento, Calif. Thirty-eight bands are scheduled to take the stage during the hard-rocking weekend, including many of Schecter's sponsored artists.
