Yellowcard's fall 2012 headline tour (with support from fellow Hopeless Records bands We Are the In Crowd and The Wonder Years) stopped in Anaheim this past Saturday (Dec. 1) for the second-to-last night of the tour.

With the end of this run, Yellowcard wraps up a whirlwind year that included a main stage spot on the entire Vans Warped Tour and the release of their eighth studio album, Southern Air.

We Are the In Crowd kicked off the night with their hook-filled style of pop-rock. Lead singer Taylor Jardine got the crowd going with such fan favorites as "Rumor Mill" and "Kiss Me Again," showing how quickly they've carved out their own place in today's crowded (see what we did there?) music scene.

The Wonder Years, known for their devout fan base, took the stage next. Frontman Dan "Soupy" Campbell gave the crowd exactly what they were looking for-a fast paced set of songs spanning the past five years of their career. Midway through the set, Soupy mentioned moving to California next month to record a new album, sending their adoring fans into a frenzy.

After The Wonder Years, Yellowcard took the stage to a huge ovation from the capacity crowd. The band's set was a healthy balance of new songs (especially memorable were "Awakening" and "With You Around") and early-2000s MTV staples like "Way Away" and "Ocean Avenue."

Yellowcard has been around enough to have touched a lot of people, which was evident by the wide range of fans, but the one thing everyone had in common was the excitement of seeing frontman Ryan Key and violinist Sean Mackin still running and jumping around on stage after all these years. Some things never change. And for Yellowcard, that's a good thing.
