Talk about your slow news mornings...today takes the cake. After what's been a rather hectic week, which started out with Five Finger Death Punch misplaced their guitarist and was seemingly capped last night with Chiodos booting their frontman, things are slowing down a bit this morning. That doesn't mean nothing news worthy's happened in the last 24 hours. Its just the caliber...the quality of the news we have a problem with. Do not fret. If you're down with tour dates, album and song streams, and your favorite bands making the talk show circuit, then we've got you covered. If you want controversy and mystery, go to TMZ. It's White Noise...keeping you updated on all the latest metal news, as it's happening.

+ Metal historians Nile are giving us a taste of their new album, 'Those Whom the Gods Detest,' over on their MySpace page. The band is now streaming the track 'Permitting the Noble Dead to Descend to the Underworld,' and its killer. The entire record is a monster, so you should definitely check this song out. In related news, Nile is in the market for a bassist. All you need to do is email a video of yourself playing the song 'Papyrus Containing the Spell to Preserve its Possessor From Attacks From He Who Is In the Water' to the band, and wait to hear back. Good luck. Frankly, if we had to play bass in a technical death metal band, it'd be Nile.
