Wes Scantlin Steals Ex-Wife’s Car? Jessica Scantlin Files Legal Request Against Puddle of Mudd Singer

Puddle of Mudd's Wes Scantlin is in trouble with the law, according to TMZ.

The site reports that his ex-wife Jessica Scantlin alleges that she woke up Monday morning (Feb. 18) and noticed that her Honda Pilot was gone, and suspected Wes had taken it because she says he's done so before.

Jessica tells TMZ that she texted Wes' manager to demand that the singer return the vehicle, and six hours later, the manager texted back the exact location of her wheels. But, she claims the manager texted, "Wes didn't take your car."

It's unclear then how the manager knew where the car was, but according to Jessica, cops impounded the car to have it tested for prints. She's sure Wes took it since the windows weren't broken and she says he has a spare key. The car was given to her following the divorce.

Although the windows weren't broken, the car had damage to the bumpers and a side view mirror was missing.

Besides the missing car, she also claims she got threatening texts from Wes during the incident.

She alleges that one read, "Learn" and another said, "You can't hide. I hope you have a shovel."

TMZ reports that Jessica filed a legal request to have Wes held in contempt of court for making the alleged threats and for taking the car.
