Simply put, the new Noisecreep site rocks to the bone and definitely strikes a nerve ... literally. In fact, our designer Jon Gamel took that to heart so much that we get a little bit of his bone and nerve in the look. A closer view near the "search" bar shows several numbers, letters and date stamps as well as imagery of Gamel's skull. These come from a series of slides that Gamel had from an MRI he received while being checked out for a pinched nerve in his neck. "They are always interesting (and slightly freaky) to look at, though it's unsettling to know what is actually in your head," said Gamel. "When they talked to me about the direction for Noisecreep, my first thought was to take out my old MRI slides, photograph them, invert them and use them for the background." Pretty hardcore, eh?!
And with Noisecreep's new mobile access, you can have the latest info from Metallica, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Slipknot and all of your favorite hard rock and metal acts right at the touch of your fingertips. As you can see in the shots below, thumbing around the mobile Noisecreep access is a breeze.
