The summer is upon us and it's time to go and pick out that new release you'll be cranking during the hottest months of the year. The new release schedule in June provides you with plenty of great options, but we want to know which of the upcoming efforts you're most anticipating picking up.

On June 3, The Melvins' King Buzzo steps out for the solo album 'This Machine Kills Artists,' while Alice Cooper's documentary 'Super Duper Alice Cooper' also arrives on DVD. The week of June 10 is the busiest release week of the month, as Hellyeah's 'Blood for Blood,' Arch Enemy's 'War Eternal,' The Word Alive's 'Real' and Mayhem's 'Esoteric Warfare' lead the way. You can also look for new releases from Amity Affliction ('Let the Ocean Take Me'), Beartooth ('Disgusting'), Equilibrium ('Erdentemple') and Rival Sons ('Great Western Valkyrie').

It's a light schedule on June 17, but the one major release -- Linkin Park's 'The Hunting Party' -- is a big one. And the month closes out on June 24 with Mastodon's 'Once More 'Round the Sun,' Ace Frehley's 'Space Invader,' Nothing More's self-titled breakout, Corrosion of Conformity's 'IX' and Septicflesh's 'Titan.'

There's a little something for hard rock and metal lovers of all kinds. But which new release will you most be rushing to stores or online to pick up? Let us know by voting in the poll below.
