Orlando's Trivium will be headlining an U.S. tour in support of the band's latest release, 'Shogun,' this fall -- their first headliner in a while. After a long year of festivals and runs like the Jägermeister Musictour and the Unholy Alliance Tour, they thought it was best to give their diehard fans an awesome offering.

"It's been a long time since Trivium has headlined a North American tour," vocalist and guitarist Matt Heafy told Noisecreep. "The time is now time for Trivium to headline with diverse set lists, with killer support bands and hit as many places as we can before the year ends."

The band will also be hitting Australia and the U.K., and the tour acts as a kind of temporary farewell before the band begins writing and recording their fifth studio album. "This will be the best our fans have ever seen us," Heafy said. "And this will be the last tour on the 'Shogun' album before we disappear to work on our next album."

'Shogun' debuted at 23 on Billboard's Top 200 the week of its release.
