Trivium Finish New Album With Disturbed’s David Dramain + More News
Trivium have finished recording their sixth album, which was produced by Disturbed‘s David Draiman. It’s due out this summer. The band posted a quick Facebook update, confirming that they were indeed done.

The Artery Foundation’s SxSW showcase is set for March 15 at the House of Blues Annex. It’s all ages and kicks off at 6:30PM. The killer metal lineup is as follows:

Warner Bros. Records has revealed its offerings for Record Store Day, set for April 20. As an official sponsor of this annual celebration of independent record-selling establishments, the label has plenty of metal wares to get fans into record stores and they are as follows.
Avenged Sevenfold‘s “Carry On,” a one-disc, vinyl 12″ Picture Disc, limited to only 5,000 copies.
The A-side is the studio track “Carry On,” which is featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops II. The B-side features the instrumental version, which is previously unreleased. This picture disc is features the Call of Duty: Black Ops II artwork and Avenged Sevenfold’s Deathbat.
Avenged Sevenfold’s Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough, a 12″ vinyl LP and DVD Deluxe Edition, limited to just 3,500 copies. The release contains both the first live concert film from Avenged Sevenfold, Live in the LBC, which was filmed live on April 10, 2008, as well as Diamonds in the Rough, an offering of previously unreleased B-sides and more. The CD/DVD configuration was released September 16, 2008.
Linkin Park‘s Hybrid Theory, a one-disc, vinyl LP plus two song 10″ EP with an exclusive poster and sticker, limited to just 3,000 copies. The bonus 10″ EP contains the tracks “One Step Closer” and “My December.” This pressing will also contain long out of print poster and original street team sticker re-productions. This is the first time it has been issued on vinyl in over a decade.
Deftones‘ Live: Volume 1 – Selections from Adrenaline, a one-disc, vinyl 12″ EP. The quantity to be released is TBD at press time, but the songs from Adrenaline were hand-picked by Deftones and recorded live at Memorial Auditorium in Buffalo, New York, on October 13, 1996.
