Who's ready for some Tool? While we wait for a new disc, there will be at least one Tool show this year and it's taking place at the Monster Mash Festival in Tempe, Ariz. on Halloween. But before the band takes the stage, the group is planning on staging a VIP meet-and-greet with fans, with a special guest on hand for the occasion.

A post on Tool's website revealed that WWE announcer Justin Roberts will moderate the meet and greet with Tool, which will take place on Oct. 30 at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Ariz., a day prior to their performance. The post from the band's webmaster Blair states as follows:

Okay, if I can get some of you to gather around me for a minute... Closer... Okay. Realizing that those fans who are interested in the Tool VIP event are hoping that I might 'whisper' a few more of the "surprises" in store for those who attend, one thing that I did overhear a couple of days ago is that Justin Roberts of WWE fame will be the event moderator. Hopefully I won't be guillotined, with my lopped off head plopping inside a bucket of Tabasco sauce for revealing this, but I thought some of you might like to know... Not sure if I'll be able to pry away anymore items of interest regarding the event, but you should check back just in case I'm feeling... daring.

Tickets for the VIP event can be purchased for $500 and will include a meet and greet, Q&A session, a gallery of rare artwork and mementos, and a photo opportunity. It should be noted that absolutely no cell phones or recording devices will be allowed inside the event. All devices will be stored in a secure place by Tool security. Tool will perform a headlining set at the Marquee Theatre the following day (Halloween) as part of the weekend-long 2015 Monster Mash Music Fest. The Saturday lineup also boasts Primus, Coheed and Cambria, Aeges and With Our Arms to the Sun.

Of course, the big question on every Tool fan's mind is "when will the band release a new album?" Many speculated a 2015 release, but updates on the group's progress have been a tad confusing. Back in May, guitarist Adam Jones teased fans with clips of new music they had been jamming in the studio, but nothing proved to be concrete. Earlier this month, Rolling Stone asked Maynard James Keenan about new Tool music, to which he responded, "I write lyrics and melodies to music. If I don’t have music, I can’t." Tool fans will just have to wait it out for now.
