Tony Iommi’s Red Custom Shop Iommi SG Stolen

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi said via his website that his red custom shop Iommi SG guitar was stolen at last month’s High Voltage Festival, which was held in London. What’s even more tragic about this news is that the axe was lifted during the Heaven & Hell tribute show for late singer Ronnie James Dio. The guitar was stolen after the band’s set on July 24.

Iommi is offering a reward for the safe return of the guitar and anyone with information on the whereabouts of the instrument or the sticky-fingered thieves is encouraged to email the webmaster of Iommi’s site.
