Queensryche fans are now getting a chance to hear new music from the Todd La Torre-led version of the group, as the band is ramping up to the release of their first new album since dismissing longtime frontman Geoff Tate. The band has spent the past year working on their new album and the nature of the music made this the perfect time to self-title the effort.

The group is streaming the 'Queensryche' album via a special link at their website as well as on Century Media's Soundcloud page. The album arrives June 25, giving listeners a full week to sit with the music before it lands in stores.

The 'Queensryche' album features such standout cuts as 'Redemption,' 'Vindication' and 'Fallout.' It also comes with the instrumental cut, 'Midnight Lullaby.' The album is currently available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon in a variety of formats and the band's website also offers a number of bundle offers.

Queensryche will play a sold-out hometown show at Seattle's Crocodile Club to celebrate the release of the effort. The show takes place June 26. In addition, the band has been invited by the Seattle Mariners to throw out the first pitch before their June 26 game against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Eddie Jackson will represent the band tossing out the pitch from the mound. And to finish out the flurry of promotion, drummer Scott Rockenfield and frontman Todd La Torre will drop by VH1 Classic's 'That Metal Show' for the June 29 episode.
