As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis has understandably been sidetracked of late as he's currently out on bail in his murder-for-hire case, but the first piece of musical info since his jailing and release has finally arrived. Lambesis, who also fronts the Arnold Schwarzenegger-inspired Austrian Death Machine, has offered an update on the new album from that project.

Whether it was Lambesis or someone else posting on his behalf, a new Facebook posting arrived at the band's website. It revealed that the disc is progressing and should be ready soon.

The posting, written as though it was penned by the movie star-turned-governor-turned-movie star again, can be read below:

"Tim finished all of his parts back before he went on tour in Asia. He was just waiting for me to do my parts and put together the finishing touches on the mix of the album. I'm working on that this starting this week now that I have the files. The CD should be done soon and then we'll start planning to manufacture.

Sincerely,

Ahhnold

Prior to his legal troubles, Lambesis had used a crowdsourcing campaign to help fund the new Austrian Death Machine disc. Over $78,000 was raised by fans to allow Lambesis to record the new album.

The singer was recently released on $2 million bail for allegedly paying a hitman to kill his estranged wife. The man Lambesis approached for the alleged hit was an undercover police officer acting on a tip. It was later reported that the frontman put up $160,000 of the $2 million to a bail bondsman in order to secure the release. Lambesis may be out of jail, but he's been ordered to wear a GPS tracker and must have no contact with his wife or children.
