Three Days Grace continue to dig deeper into they're 'Transit of Venus' album and their letting the fans get some joy out of 'misery' -- 'Misery Loves Company,' that is. The group has decided to let their fans be responsible for coming up with the video promoting the song.

The group has joined together with Genero.tv to provide fans with the chance to show off their creativity and add their stamp to the latest single. In a posting for the video promotion, it states, "The band loves animation, effects and filters, but they are not mandatory. Images or video of the band or their likeness, animated or otherwise should not appear in the video. Other than that, they are leaving the brief open to all styles, so check out the track and let your creativity loose."

The deadline for submissions is July 22, so be sure to get your entry in. The winner will receive $5,000 for their efforts, plus the clip will become the official video for the song and will premiere on the band's VEVO and YouTube channels. Outstanding videos will also be nominated for the 2013 Genero Awards, with the winners and finalists being chosen by the band and Genero. For further info on the video competition, check here.

Three Days Grace are currently touring with My Darkest Days' Matt Walst handling vocals after Adam Gontier left the group earlier this year. They recently announced another leg of shows that launches July 27 in Syracuse, N.Y. and continues through Sept. 27 in Hampton Beach, N.H. To see the full run of dates, click the button below.
