Next month, fans of melodic rock will be in sonic ecstasy when Three Days Grace make their triumphant return to record store shelves. The Canadian hook kings will be releasing Transit of Venus, their long-awaited fourth studio album.

Produced by acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine), at Revolution Studios in Toronto, the albums's first single, "Chalk Outline," was the #1 most added at Active Rock radio its first week out.

"We went for a tighter, more articulated sound on this record," Three Days Grace drummer Neil Sanderson says of Transit of Venus. "The music we were writing was a little more intricate than in the past, and we've been experimenting with new instruments. We wanted to present these new ideas concisely without going over-the-top in ambience and overall production."

In this Noisecreep exclusive, we go behind-the-scenes of the photo shoot for the Transit of Venus album. As an added bonus, we also got our dirty paws on some pics from the session!
