The Winery Dogs are back with a trippy new video for their latest single "Oblivion" and they're teaming up with Loudwire to bring you the exclusive premiere of the clip.

The video is a primarily a performance piece, but with a stylish twist and you get to see band members Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan and Richie Kotzen in all their glistening glory as they rock through the track. It's a very cool, sometimes up-close, other times in slow motion look at their performance.

We've also got a behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot, which can be seen below. In the video, singer-guitarist Kotzen states, "'Oblivion' is a song about what goes on in my mind most of the time which is just kind of total confusion and unawareness … You know somewhere in oblivion I'm kind of on the edge, but I'm trying to break through and evolve to the inhibitions that kind of keep you from finding your self-confidence in yourself and realizing your full potential."

As for the video, Kotzen adds, "We're going to be floating somewhere in oblivion and there's going to be a lot of imagery of us playing our instruments, not playing our instruments, a kind of mysterious kind of element." Check out more of the behind-the-scenes footage below.

"Oblivion" is featured on the Winery Dogs new album Hot Streak. You can pick up the disc via Amazon, iTunes or in a variety of bundle options at the band's merch site. And look for Winery Dogs supporting the album on tour. See their itinerary here.
