The Sword Announce Warm Up Shows Leading Up to Metallica-Curated Festival

The Sword have announced six warm up shows routing to the Metallica-curated Orion Music + More festival in Atlantic City on June 23 from their home base of Austin, Texas. Following the Orion Festival appearance, the band will commence recording their debut album for Razor & Tie, scheduled for release in the fall.

Direct support on all shows will be Red Fang. Honky will open the shows in Houston and New Orleans and Kyng will open the shows in Atlanta, Raleigh, Baltimore, and Westchester.

June 17- Houston, TX – Fitzgeralds
June 18- New Orleans, LA -House of Blues Parish
June 19 – Atlanta, GA – Masquerade
June 20- Raleigh, NC -Kings Barcade
June 21 – Baltimore, MD – Sonar
June 22- Westchester, PA- The Note

Metallica’s Orion Music + More festival is set for June 23 and 24 in Atlantic City, N.J. The festival will also feature Suicidal Tendencies, Sepultura, Torche, Black Tusk and Charred Walls of the Damned, among others.
