When we caught up with the Damned Things frontman Keith Buckley -- who also pulls vocal duty for Every Time I Die -- he was watching a 'Gangland' marathon, but he allowed Noisecreep to cut into his TV viewing time. His new band features Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano of Anthrax, as well as Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley of Fall Out Boy, so your first response might be "supergroup." But Buckley recoils at that term.

"I hate the supergroup tag," Buckley told Noisecreep. "I can say that as a fan. We are normal people. Scott Ian is a legend and I am freaked out when I see him onstage with me."

He continued, with a dose of sarcasm, saying, "Scott is super and Joe and Andy and Rob are all super guys, so I guess it is a 'super group.'"

With all the band members having other projects, Buckley predicts that next year is going to be crazy for the Damned Things, who will release their debut, 'Ironiclast,' on Dec. 14. "I'm trying to everything in," Buckley said. "I am trying to finish everything with Every Time I Die, such as writing and recording, and it is going to be f---ing bananas next year. But it's all good stuff, so I am not going to complain about two amazing things in my life where I am being creative."

It's a hectic lifestyle, but Buckley is achieving a balance by remaining busy. "It's going well so far, since I don't know how to stop. I have to keep moving and being productive. I don't appreciate a good leisurely activity," he admitted. "I like to get home from tour, and then the very next [morning], go on tour with the Damned Things! I am going to have four days off, but it has been good so far. I like being busy."
