In honor of their upcoming debut 'A Glorified Piece of Blue Sky,' Candlelight/Battle Kommand recording artists the Atlas Moth are holding a listening party at Chicago's famed metal burger joint Kuma's Corner on Oct. 4. To coincide with the event, Kuma's is unveiling the 'Atlas Moth Burger' on their elite menu, that includes both international and hometown hero-inspired items, like the Black Sabbath Burger, Iron Maiden Burger, Lair of the Minotaur Burger and Pig Destroyer Pork Sandwich, just to name a few.

Though many of the burgers are mammoths of meat, TAM's namesake is a 10 oz. slab of beef on waffles, topped with collared greens, fried chicken, chicken fried bacon and a bacon infused maple syrup. Or, as Kuma's Sous Chef Luke Tobias puts it, "It's a towering inferno of flesh and waffles."

Guitarist/vocalist David Kush expresses his awe and gratitude, telling Noisecreep that, "In the wake of the Plague Bringer and the Nachtmystium Burgers, we have our work cut out for us ... but with chef Luke Tobias behind the grill, we feel we might give the other burgers a run for their money as possibly [the] most gluttonous and carnivorous --- save maybe the Slayer Burger, which will always reign supreme."

But Chef Tobias confirms that, "The Atlas Moth Burger is by far the largest, most ridiculous burger we've done -- at least as long as I've been here."

Continues Kush, "The support and enthusiasm Kuma's shows for local metal is unmatched and so appreciated. We can't thank them enough for the honor of creating The Atlas Moth Burger."

Chicago-grown TAM will unleash their sludging psych metal debut on Oct. 20. Pre-dating the release is not only the Kuma's party, but also a record release show on Oct. 12 in their hometown with Kylesa, Saviours and Red Fang. The band will then hit the road for a full month across the U.S.
