Irish rock band The Answer will release their new single 'Spectacular' next month. The track comes from their new studio album 'New Horizon,' which is due Oct. 1. Fans can purchase a limited vinyl single of the song on the Napalm Records site with the option of choosing their record to come in sky blue or green.

The record, which features production work from former Little Angels singer Toby Jepson, also contains artwork from late graphic designer Storm Thorgerson, whose work has been featured on albums from such acts as Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd. Thergerson and his crew were working on 'New Horizon's' cover art before his passing.

"Never one for looking back or resting on his laurels, Storm always got a thrill from working with young bands and from the idea of 'newness' in general," said Storm Studios in a statement. "In his last few months, Storm and the Storm Studios team threw ourselves wholeheartedly into new projects and 'New Horizon' was one of the last covers we designed together. As is our usual modus operandi, we interrogated the band at length about their music and lives, and listened to the album on repeat for a month. Our final designs were submitted to The Answer very shortly before Storm died. The image itself came from our thoughts about endings and new beginnings, very poignant for all concerned." Throughout their career, The Answer having toured the world and played at festivals supporting such rock acts as the Rolling Stones, Wolfmother, and Whitesnake. The band spent almost two years as a supporting act for AC/DC. To promote their album, the band will start a U.K. tour starting Oct. 11 in Belfast. North American dates have yet to be announced.
