Terror Singer Disses Refused Reunion, Halestorm Want to Turn You On + More

Century Media

One person not feeling the Refused reunion? Terror vocalist Scott Vogel, who took the stage to rant about his lack of support for the Swedes reformin’ and performin’. He said, “A lot of bands that come around, they do their thing, they tell you how much they care, they write their songs, they write their lyrics, [and a] couple of years later, they disappear. They disappear, they don’t go to shows, they don’t support new bands, they don’t buy demos, they don’t give a fuck about me or you. But for some reason, we give them the mighty dollar to come back and play for us, a fake shell of what they once were. And yes, I’m talking about Refused. If you wanna support Refused, that’s up to you, but I don’t support that shit!” Hmm, last we checked, Refused weren’t a part of some mainstream machine… [Metal Sucks]

Want a free download of Bonded by Blood‘s “Restless Mind?” Then pony up your email address and grab the track from their new album The Aftermath, which drops on July 3. It’ll thrash your mind and your body, to say nothing of your soul. Frontman Mauro Gonzalez said, “We chose ‘Restless Mind’ as the first single because it showcases a few different elements of the new album. The lyrics are basically about the troubles we go through in modern society, such as insomnia due to stress of high expectations.” The song is the perfect stress release. [Earache Records]
