Tee Pee Records, one of the leading indie labels specializing in stoner rock and doom metal, is partnering with LA Record for the second annual New Weird America festival. The event will take place on July 2nd at the Nomad Gallery, located at 1993 Blake Avenue in Los Angeles.

This year's festival is expected to be even bigger than the event's debut year, spotlighting some of California's best heavy rock acts. A diverse array of bands will perform, including Ides of Gemini (a psych rock duo featuring members of Black Math Horseman), along with The F---ing Wrath, Radio Moscow, Night Horse, and True Widow. The headliner is still to be announced, keeping the excitement for this event incredibly high.

On Friday, July 1st, the day before the concert, a special group art show titled "Twin Infinities" will be featured at the Nomad. The art event will feature original works and photography by artists Melinda Beck, Ross Farrar (Ceremony), Tim Kerr, Stephen O'Malley (SUNN O))), etc.), Mike Watt (Iggy and the Stooges, The Minutemen) and many others. A special musical guest will perform at the event, and fans can RSVP at the event's Facebook page.

The poster for the fest, pictured above, was designed by Coliseum's Ryan Patterson.

Lastly, Tee Pee is also issuing a free label sampler album, featuring 16 songs from the likes of Ancestors, The Atomic Bitchwax, Karma to Burn and Priestess. Your speakers or listening device will melt.
