Oh, Uncle Ted. You never cease to amaze us with your insightful commentary on all things regarding America, from its rock music to its Commander-in-Chief. Ted Nugent is not only PETA Public Enemy No. 1; he's also the opponent of all that is liberal. He has sounded off (yet again), spewing his right wing political rhetoric and this time he's erased any parallels between rock music and politics, high-fiving classic rockers while taking verbal shots at President Obama. He digs classic rockers, but is not impressed by the new school of musicians. He also doesn't like the leader of the free world, deeming him representative of "everything that is bad about humanity."

In a chat with the Broward-Palm Beach New Times, Nugent celebrated being "clean and sober for 64 glorious years" and that he is "allergic to dabbling," proud of the fact that he lives his life "gung-ho, extreme and over-the-top radical."

As for his view on the state of rock 'n' roll... Nugent said, "Due the indefatigable celebration of killer music by me and my band, Sammy Hagar, Chickenfoot, Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, ZZ Top, Van Halen Styx, REO Speedwagon, Journey, Kid Rock, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dave Grohl and his bands, and so many honest to God soulful musicians carrying on, the best music in the world is alive and well. As far as new bands go, I'm afraid I cannot name any that thrill me, but confidence roils eternal."

When asked what rock band Mitt Romney and Obama would be, he couldn't draw a comparison, since rock music and politicos don't really belong in the same sentence in his mind. "Out and out politicians are anathema to rock-n-roll, so I hesitate to attempt to connect the two," he said. "But on important issues, I am saddened to admit that Obama represents everything bad about humanity and Romney pretty much all that is good. It is really that stark."
