Taproot

Michigan hard rockers Taproot are following up 'Our Long Road Home' with their Victory Records debut, 'Plead the Fifth,' which will drop on May 11. Word is the album draws from the band's hugely successful debut, 'Gift,' which put them on the metal map. Well, that and the famous threatening answering machine message left for singer Stephen Richards by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst after Taproot refused to sign with Durst's label Interscope after Durst negotiated a deal.

The band will spend the month of May on the road pleading the fifth on tour, too. Don't expect to see them opening for the reunited Bizkit anytime soon, though.
