By now, anyone with a pair of eyes and at least one functioning eardrum can tell that Skeletonwitch's molten black thrash attack is definitely not for the faint of heart or short of hair. Razor-sharp riffs, machine gun blasting, sepulchral vocals and the nastiest guitar duels since Bonded by Blood make short work of wimps, posers, and the otherwise unworthy. The men of the 'Witch, in the words of illustrious shredder Scott "Scunty D" Hedrik, "have never been pussies," and gleefully prove that fact both live and in their bloodsoaked new music video.

Fresh off the road with Amon Amarth, Goatwhore, and Lazarus A.D., Mr. Hedrik was gracious enough to allow himself to be interrogated in the name of Noisecreep, and shed some light on just how "unpussy" these dudes really are.

You recently debuted a brand-new music video for "Sacrifice for the Slaughtergod" from your much-loved Prosthetic debut, 'Beyond the Permafrost.' What can you tell me about the video - filming, concept, all that jazz?

Cow guts are heavy and they stink. Weapons, beers and skulls rule. Nate caught a baby bass while we were shooting.

What albums are you listening to right now? What do you guys listen to before a show, in the van, and at home?

Right now.....Absu and Satyricon. At home and in the van varies.

What is it about extreme metal that you love so much? How did you get into metal?

We love how un-pussy it is. We've never been pussies.

What bands and styles are you most excited to see becoming more popular nowadays?

Skeletonwitch of course. Just kidding. No, wait... we meant that. Any shit that is unpussy.

What bands - new or old - do you think deserve more recognition from the metal scene and music scene as a whole?

Vio-lence, Demolition Hammer, Goatwhore, Overkill, Absu

What did you think of the new Absu album?

It's killer!!! Why aren't we touring together?
