Man, what a night. We spent a few hours inside New York's Avatar Studios with Porcupine Tree frontman Steven Wilson, and got our first listen at the band's epic forthcoming LP, 'The Incident,' which will be released September 22 as a two-disc offering; we can't get the song "Time Flies" out of our heads...

The sun is shining brightly, and we couldn't be more thrilled. For us New Yorkers, the last two weeks have been super soggy, and its nice to have a break from the rain, if only for a day or two. Also, it means we won't have to lug our umbrellas to the Porcupine Tree listening party tonight (more on that in the coming days)...

Phew, what a week! But it's finally over, and now, we've got the entire weekend to unwind. And like most busy weeks, this one's also ending with a deluge of news, from album announcements to band splits. So, rather than drag ass, let's get right to the good stuff...
