Sevendust have begun production on a concert film + documentary release for 2015.

For many years, the hard rock and metal genre was predominantly populated with white male musicians, but from the late '80s on there were more rockers breaking that color barrier. Sevendust fans have anxiously been awaiting the band's 'Time Travelers & Bonfires' acoustic album, and to give fans a taste of what's to come, the band has teamed with Loudwire to exclusively premiere the single 'Black.'

'That Metal Show' is back in action and set for a new episode on Saturday night (Jan. 25). Already in its 13th season, the VH1 Classic series has an all-star lineup in the works, with members of Sevendust and Living Colour to guest on the Jan. 25 episode.

Last year, Sevendust embarked on a crowdfunding campaign to record an acoustic album. According to their PledgeMusic page, more than 2700 people have contributed, and they have exceeded their goal by more than 60 percent with more than two months remaining. Now, more details have been revealed about the project.

Remember that fall tour that Asking Alexandria were planning with All That Remains and Sevendust? It's moved from planning to reality. The bands will hit the road with For Today and Emmure, making for quite an eclectic bill.

Asking Alexandria are hitting the U.S. for a short, compact tour this month as 'From Death to Destiny' lands tomorrow, Aug. 6, and having the band play a few gigs makes an impact with a record on shelves. However, these U.K. metal miscreants will be back in the fall for a full-fledged run, featuring All That Remains, Sevendust, Emmure and For Today on the bill.

Fans of Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery will be pleased to know that the musician and Southern gent is working on a new Hello Demons…Meet Skeletons EP. He offered an update via an informative post on his official site, revealing that he is winging it and that his only plan is to not have a plan. That's how some of the best musical magic happens.

Last week (April 17), Sevendust brought their infectious brand of hard rock to a packed Best Buy Theater in New York City.
