Strong Island alternative hardcorists/metalcorists Stray From the Path have designated August 30th as the release date for their new album 'Rising Sun' and the band has issued a first taste of that album via the moshy, screamy song 'Death Beds,' which should have you hardcore two-stepping in the pit in record time. SFTP are currently decimating stages while on tour with Underoath and Times of Grace as part of the 'Illuminato(u)r' and the band is literally road testing 'Death Beds' on that trek.

"It is finally here," guitarist Tom Williams exclaimed in a statement. "We are so proud of this record and can't wait for you to hear all of it. We are currently on the Illuminato(u)r and are playing 'Death Beds' at all shows, as well as another new song called 'Mad Girl,' which you will also be hearing very soon."

The Ghost Inside's Jonathan Vigil lays down bone-chilling, face liquefying guest vocals on 'Death Beds,' and the ban well that worked for them, as it's his second time collaborating with SFTP. Vigil isn't the only friend of SFTP to contribute to the record, as Norma Jean's Cory Brandan and Comeback Kid's Andrew Neufeld also provide vocal assists on 'Rising Sun.' So that's something for pit dwellers to look forward to.

Check out 'Death Beds' below and put your firsts in the air to the sound of the new... whatever that last word of the final lyric is! Noisecreep couldn't quite make it out.
