Stone Sour Bassist Quits, a Look at the Recent Lyric Video Trend + More

Bassist Shawn Econonaki has left Stone Sour. Vocalist Corey Taylor confirmed the split via his Twitter: “As some of you might have heard but I’ll confirm it: Shawn Economaki is no longer with Stone Sour. We wish him luck in the future.” [Metal Insider]

PT Dub alert. Much loved metalcore band Poison the Well will re-release their classic Trustkill releases The Opposite of December and Tear From the Red via Rise Records. Both have been out of print for years and will enjoy a proper re-release this summer.
