Stardog Champion Hit the Road for 2013 North American Tour Dates

Having split from Breaking Benjamin, guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark James have resurfaced this year with their new band Stardog Champion and fans will have a chance to embrace the music from their debut effort on tour during the latter portion of summer leading into the fall.

As Fink and James figured out the next stage in their career, they dipped into the past, recruiting frontman Nick Coyle from their pre-Breaking Benjamin band Lifer to lay down some new tracks. They rounded out the lineup with drummer Josh Karis and immediately started cranking out new material.

The first of their new music, an EP titled 'Exhale,' arrived back in April led by the single 'When We Fall.' The video for the track can be seen here. The band recently released a second single, 'Anorexiqueen,' which arrived at digital outlets earlier this month.

The group, with their Pennsylvania-based roots, has unveiled a month-and-a-half-long trek that will primarily focus on the East Coast and Midwest. The tour launches Aug. 9 in Long Branch, New Jersey, wrapping with a Sept. 29 finale in Pittsburgh.
