Aaron Lewis doesn't just possess one of the most powerful voices in rock; the Staind singer is also a philanthropist. Lewis, who also just released his first country-tinged solo album dubbed 'Town Line,' has just announced the dates and lineup for the second concert benefiting his It Takes a Community Foundation. The two-day event will take place on Friday, August 19th and Saturday, August 20th at The Pines Theater at Look Park in Northampton, Mass. The show is not a full-on metal event, but regardless of the genres involved, it's all for a good cause.

Friday's show will feature country music performances from Rhett Akins, Frank Hannon (of Tesla fame) and Alexa Carter, while Saturday ups the metal quotient with a set from Tesla as well as an appearance from Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour. Lo-Pro and Otan Vargas are also on deck to perform. It's Lewis' party and he'll perform because he wants to. Lewis himself will perform on both dates.

Single-day tickets range from $45-$78 beginning Friday, June 24th, and VIP meet and greet packages are also available here. All proceeds from the show will go directly to It Takes a Community.

So what exactly is It Takes a Community?

The 501c3 non-for-profit was founded by Lewis and his wife Vanessa. The charity's focus is reviving rural communities throughout the greater New England area. The charity works with local leaders and community organizations who have firsthand knowledge of the needs of their communities. It strives to raise funds and support these community groups who strengthen, engage and enrich the communities they are in, sustain diminishing public services, and provide assistance to communities in crisis. They work to unite resources and ideas to help people and communities create a better tomorrow.

In layman's terms, the non-profit looks out for rural communities that are tucked away throughout New England.
