Ganja enthusiasts should have Aug. 14 marked down on their calendars. That's the day that Southern Californian rap-rockers the Kottonmouth Kings release lucky album #13, Mile High. This time out, the Kings were joined in the studio by Swollen Members, Jahred of (Hed) pe, Mickey Avalon, and Twiztid.

To celebrate the release of their most potent album to date, the Kottonmouth Kings are out on the road on what they've dubbed "The Mile High Tour." The group enlisted horror master Prozak, underground heavyweight Big B, and country hip-hop misfits the Moonshine Bandits. See below for the list of remaining dates and to check out the video for "Hold It In," a track from the new album.

Since they're experts on the subject, Noisecreep asked Kottonmouth Kings frontman Daddy X for a list of his 10 favorite smoke out songs.

1. "Smoke Two Joints" by The Toyes

"This is a classic track that has been covered by Sublime and other artists. The Kottonmouth Kings do an acapella version of it at every show."

2. "Get Up Stand Up" by Bob Marley

"This is the ultimate freedom fighter's anthem about standing up for your rights."

3. "Hits From the Bong" by Cypress Hill

"As far as West Coast rap goes, Cypress Hill really knocked down a lot of doors for groups like the Kottonmouth Kings."

4. "Get Lifted" by Keith Murray

"Keith Murray was a member of the Def Squad which was formed by EPMD. This track features a classic sample in it and the verses are simply amazing."

5. "Proud to Be a Stoner" by Kottonmouth Kings

"This song has become a stoner anthem for Kings & Kweens around the globe. I used James Brown's "Say it Loud -- I'm Black and I'm Proud" and it's just about being proud of what and who you are, without any apologies."

6. "Collie Man" by Slightly Stoopid

"There is a great vibe on this classic Slightly Stoopid track. It just has a sweet feel and the group are buds of ours from Southern California.

7. "What I Got" by Sublime

"I picked this song because love is the ultimate high and Sublime was just so influential to me."

8. "Burn One Down" by Ben Harper & Jack Johnson

"It's great to see such popular mainstream artists embrace and openly sing about burning one down."

9. "Gangsta Party" by Tupac & Snoop

"This is one of my favorite collabos ever. It is not directly about weed but the song can fire up any party."

10. "Amber" by 311

"We toured with 311 and this is just a really nice feel good song with a great reggae feel."
