Slayer to Perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Thrash legends Slayer will perform on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' on Nov. 4. The performance will air after midnight the same night, and marks the band's second appearance on the show.

Slayer's forthcoming, much-anticipated 11th album, 'World Painted Blood,' will be released on Nov. 3. The album features four special collector's-edition covers that when put together, construct a continental map made of skulls and bones.

The 'World Painted Blood Deluxe Edition' will have its own special layout of the map and will include the CD, the 'Playing With Dolls' DVD, a 20-minute animated graphic novel featuring music from the album (including part of a new song not on the album), and an expanded booklet.

Fresh off of a headlining stint on this summer's Mayhem Fest, Slayer will hit the road again in Canada and Europe following their late-night TV appearance.
