We recently posted about a Slayer fan's video that spoofs a Matthew McConaughey Lincoln car commercial. The viral clip features a fan named Jake who doesn't have the money to go to Slayer's Los Angeles concert, so he's selling his '97 Ford Escort to raise the cash (watch below). Now, it turns out one of the people who saw Jake's video was Slayer frontman Tom Araya.

Araya was in the studio working on the band's upcoming album, and somebody brought the video to his attention. In his own video (watch above), a smiling Araya responds. He says, "Jake, you're going to sell your car for some Slayer tickets? The car's a piece of s--t! I tell you what, we'll give you the tickets."

A message posted at the end of the video says, "Awesome video dude... and don't sell the car. You'll need it to get to the Forum. Two tickets, two VIP passes in your name on Slayer's guest list."

Slayer's tour with Suicidal Tendencies and Exodus kicks off Nov. 11 in Oakland, Calif. The Los Angeles date that Jake will be going to is Nov. 14. Check out Slayer’s full list of North American tour dates here.
