Slayer and Rob Zombie are teaming up on the road for the first time since they were both a part of OZZfest back in 1999. The two acts will spread their demonic seeds all over Canada and the northern US via a co-headlining summer tour. The day of reckoning comes on July 20 in Reading, PA, where the tour kicks off.

"We haven't toured with Zombie since OZZfest 1999, so you can expect no less than 'hell on earth,'" said Slayer's Kerry King in a statement. "Total sonic annihilation and a visual bludgeoning." King also issued a potent warning for metalheads planning to attend. "Bring your own body bag." Thanks, Mr. King. We are heading out to purchase ours today!

Rob Zombie echoed King's sentiments, stating that "total destruction on stage and off is what this combination promises. Seriously, how much more Hell could you ask for? The answer is, none more Hell."

Somewhere down below, Satan is smiling.

During the tour, both acts will present full headliner sets at every show. San Francisco's thrash-metal legends Exodus are strapping in and coming along for the ride as openers. That means show up early, metalheads!
