Slash fans, your beloved mad hatter has just released a brand-new song! Slash, along with his bandmates Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators, will unleash their 'World on Fire' album on Sept. 16, but you can hear the title track right now in the player above.

Much like in Velvet Revolver, Slash has found great success in his recent solo project. Slash's 2010 self-titled album went gold and platinum in various countries, hitiing No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. 'Apocalyptic Love' came in 2012, hitting the No. 4 spot on that same chart.

Slash's 'World on Fire' single is a scorching rocker with some impressive vocals by Kennedy. It looks like it will bring the guitarist even more success, already having received a very positive reaction so far via comments on YouTube.

"I think basically everyone's a great rock 'n' roll player," Slash recently told Music Radar about his band. "They're real rock musicians at heart — deep down. So when we get together, we've built up a certain chemistry. We started out with a certain kind of chemistry and we're just evolving from there. At this point, everybody feels very comfortable just being themselves and doing what it is that they do best."
