SiriusXM's Liquid Metal will kick off its 7th annual March of Dimeday, where the 24/7 metal station will celebrate the life, times and music of the much-missed Dimebag Darrell on what would have been the Pantera guitarist's 45th birthday. Dime was born on August 20th and we can all celebrate his life and legacy by listening to Liquid Metal. The celebration of all things Dime starts Saturday, August 20th at 12AM ET and it runs through Sunday, August 21st at 3AM ET. Getcha pull, as Dime himself would say.

It'll be 24 hours of all things Dime, including his music and interview clips. The channel will also include everything that Dime would want to hear if he was programming his own satellite radio station. This is a longstanding SiriusXM tradition, one we wholly support. We miss Dime like a severed limb.

Tune in this weekend and here's a sampling of what you could hear at any time: Pantera, Damageplan, Rebel Meets Rebel, rare Dimebag demos, collaborations and Dime approved artists such as Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Black Label Society, KISS, Van Halen, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Skid Row, Hellyeah & more!

As if that wasn't enough, exclusive and candid Dime stories from friends, family and fellow musicians all share some of their favorite Darrell memories. This year, Liquid Metal host Jose Mangin will be on site at the Ride For Dime event out in Dallas, Texas and will provide reports from the annual event from the heart of Pantera country.

Dime is probably chugging a Black Tooth Grin, pulling on his pink beard, tuning his guitar and cranking SiriusXM Liquid Metal loud enough so Dio, Slipknot's Paul Gray and Type O Negative's Peter Steele can hear it loud and clear.
