Sick Puppies recently rocked Los Angeles with a special taping for the Walmart Risers online concert series and during their stopover the band took the time to speak with Noisecreep about the evolution and direction of their new album, 'Connect.'

Frontman Shim Moore explained that after touring 'Tri-Polar' extensively the band was eager to take the next step in their musical evolution. "We want to take what we learned from that and take all the best things and then elevate it," says Moore. "The word elevation came up, and evolving and making it more musical and we wanted to see how far we could push it."

Sick Puppies are currently on the road promoting their 'Connect' album. For a preview of what their live show is like, check out their Walmart Risers performance here.
