Shraphead Take on Society on ‘Blind & Seduced’ — Song Premiere
Eidskog, Norway sounds like the kind of town in which a blasphemous black metal band like Mayhem would form. However, Eidskog musicians Mohamed Dyani and William Fossheim had a different sound in mind when they formed Shraphead. The band specializes in a melodic and modern take on the traditional thrash sound of the late '80s.
Later this month, Shraphead will release 'Blind & Seduced,' their debut album. With magazines like Metal Hammer singing their praises and a heavy touring schedule ahead, the record will undoubtedly find its way onto many tastemaker playlists. "The inspiration for 'Blind & Seduced' comes from society, about how you as a child are exposed to such an indoctrination of false information about life and death," says Dyani.
