Seether to Release Two-Disc, Self-Titled Hits Collection

Wind-Up Records

Seether have enjoyed a great run so far and the decade mark of a band’s career seems like a good time to reflect, so this fall audiences will get the group’s first ever hits collection. The two-disc set, titled ‘Seether 2002-2013,’ is due Oct. 29 via their longtime label, Wind-Up Records.

This 27-song set includes the band’s 11 No. 1 rock singles as well as three new tracks and some rare b-sides, thus making it a truly special collection for the Seether fans out there. And for those who wondered when this little bit of synergy would kick in, yes, Seether have officially covered the song ‘Seether’ from Veruca Salt that helped give them their name. The song arrives at radio next week (Sept. 10).

In addition to the Veruca Salt cover, other intriguing inclusions are the demo versions of the songs ‘Burn the Bridges,’ ‘Butterfly With Teeth’ and ‘Melodious,’ which close out the second disc.

Seether just finished playing a handful of U.S. dates and the band will spend the fall playing a semi-acoustic storytellers-type trek called ‘An Intimate Night With Seether’ in Europe and South Africa. Dates can be seen at the bottom of this post.
