We just landed upon another great kid performance on YouTube. This time, provided by the School of Rock franchise. The clip was posted about four months ago on the School of Rock Coral Springs account, and features a group of kids performing Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters.”

In the clip, one of the smallest band members onstage is the frontman (wearing a Megadeth t-shirt), and he’s quite talented. His vocals, along with some impressive musicianship from his bandmates, make for a rock-solid cover of the Metallica classic (watch above).

Metallica are currently taking a break from touring having been in Italy and Austria right before they played the X Games in Austin, Texas, earlier this month. The group is set to headline a sold out Lollapalooza in Chicago on Aug. 1, before kicking off a series of dates at the end of August that will take them all over the world.

Last week, Metallica made their Milan, Italy, show available for download over on their website. Head here to learn how you can get it. You also still have the chance to buy their X Games performance for the discounted price of 5 dollars. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Central Texas Red Cross to benefit the victims of the recent flooding that area has experienced. Pick that up here.
