Scar the Martyr, the brainchild of Slipknot drummer and percussive force of nature Joey Jordison, have shared a brand new, black and white, starkly shot teaser from the studio sessions for their upcoming Roadrunner debut, due this fall. The teaser clocks in at two minutes and captures footage of the rhythm warrior behind the kit, doing what he does best.

Rocking a fuzzy beard, Jordison smashes away at the cymbals in a jaw-dropping manner that will make drum nerds drool and cause general metal fans to marvel.

We also get a look at vocalist Henry Derek, who, up until now, was an unknown. Boy, how that's about to change as Scar the Martyr take off in the metalverse. We see him in the booth cutting some vocals for the new album.

Chris Vrenna, late of Nine Inch Nails, does electronics and programming on the release and it's he who is interviewed in this clip, discussing the dynamic nature of the songs and the depth that's present in each and every groove.

The fact that Jordison is not interviewed in this clip only serves to make this entire project even more intriguing.
