It sounds like Red Rocker Sammy Hagar is a betting man. The singer, who fronted Van Halen for most of the 1990s, told Rolling Stone that there is a "90 percent" chance that he will rejoin that band. Hagar said he would love to make another record with Van Halen if guitarist Eddie Van Halen was "cool" about it.

Hagar's autobiography, 'Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock,' is set to hit booksellers on March 15th. Hagar reportedly speaks about Van Halen in the book, and said that if he does indeed partner up with his former comrades for another round of Van Hagar, it won't be for quite some time. The singer is currently enjoying a career second wind with the supergroup Chickenfoot, which also features former Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and guitar legend Joe Satriani.

It's worth noting that Van Halen have recently reunited with original singer David Lee Roth and are said to be working on a new album with him.
