Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival Tickets on Sale June 12

Tickets for the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival will go on sale to the general public in select markets beginning June 12 at both and A limited number of $20 lawn tickets with no extra fees are available while supplies last. Fans are also encouraged to take advantage of Live Nation’s ‘No Service Fee June,’ where said fees will be waived for the entire month. Ticket buyers will also be able to sign up for a free digital CD which includes Disturbed‘s ‘Stricken,’ Stone Sour‘s ‘Come What(ever) May’ live, Halestorm‘s ‘Familiar Taste of Poison,’ Hellyeah‘s ‘Cowboy Way,’ Airbourne‘s ‘Blonde, Bad and Beautiful,’ Hail the Villain‘s ‘Take Back the Fear’ and New Medicine‘s ‘Laid.’ No service fees? Free music? What a bargain, especially in this craptacular economy.

In addition to being considerate of fan’s limited budgets, Uproar is truly a philanthropic event, forming an alliance with Child Find of America, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to the prevention and resolution of child abduction, which is also celebrating its 30th anniversary. A portion of the proceeds of each ticket sold will go to Child Find of America. An ingenious awareness campaign will be created by wrapping the tour’s convoy of semi trucks with images of missing children; there will also be a text-to-donate program enacted.

“Involving Child Find America on the Uproar Festival is a dream come true for us,” producer John Reese told Noisecreep. “As a father, the idea of a missing or abducted child is the most terrifying thing that any family can face. If our efforts help find one child, assist in heightening awareness to this very important issue on a national level or discourage a single child from running away from home, then our mission will have been accomplished.”

Co-producer John Oakes said, “When we were creating the concept and festival design, we wanted to not only produce a fun and exciting music tour for all attendees, but to also find a way to make a difference specifically with children. Child Find of America is an organization which we will allow us to make a big difference. Our goal is to raise awareness of all the family services they provide, raise money for their operation and do everything possible to help the prevention and resolution of child abduction.”

Hard rock and good causes? I can’t think of two tastes that taste better together.
