Red Fang Unveil Title, Artwork + Release Details for Third Studio Album

Get ready to be rocked this fall as Portland-based outfit Red Fang are ready to bring their adrenaline-fueled sounds straight to your ears. The band has revealed that their third studio album will be titled 'Whales and Leeches' and the disc is on target for an October release.

This new album found the band working closely with producer Chris Funk, delivering a full-throttle guitar sound and rocking through such standout tracks as 'Blood Like Cream,' 'Dawn Rising,' ''DOEN' and the all-out jam of the album closer 'Every Little Twist.'

On top of the new album title and release date, the band also unveiled the intriguing cover art created by Orion Landau. The cover can be seen at the left.

Having spent plenty of time on the road this year, both in North America and Europe, Red Fang have a pair of summer dates on the horizon and will reveal a full-on fall tour next week. Their current stops include a hometown show at Dante's in Portland, Ore. on Aug. 10, followed be an appearance at Totalfest in Missoula, Mon. Aug. 17. Stay tuned for more from Red Fang.
