Who said metal and Ivy League institutions can't go hand in hand? Certainly not the students at Princeton! Princeton-attending longhairs have launched Headbanger's Inc, the first heavy metal appreciation group on the campus.

According to an article on The Daily Princetonian's Web site, the group loosely came together in 2007 when students were having trouble finding fellow metalheads on campus to socialize with and wanted to organize an on-campus concert.

While small by campus standards, the group now boasts 20 members, and they enjoy study sessions where they rock out to new albums and they maintain an email list that blasts out local metal tour dates in the tri-state, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area.

Another of Headbanger's Inc's goals is to get the veritable high priestess of metal -- Sharon Osbourne -- out to the campus to speak to business students about how she created Ozzfest from the ground up.
