Check out this exclusive clip of Pop Evil recording the song 'Monster You Made,' taken from their upcoming 'War of Angels' album. The new record will be released independently in the wake of the band's split from Universal Republic. This studio diary clip gives you an intimate view of the song's construction, as well as a glimpse at how the band views their creation. It's also a great and rare peek behind the scenes at the band working in a studio setting.

"The song 'Monster You Made' depicts what the 'War of Angels' album is about as a whole," the band recently told Noisecreep. "Everyone has their battles with their inner demons."

In the clip, the band explains that the song sums up everything they've gone through while touring and recording, how those experiences haven't changed who they are as people, but rather have helped them figure out who they are. The song also addresses the struggle between good and evil, as well as their battles both on and off the stage.

'Wars of Angels,' which was initially due out this month, has been pushed back. A new release date has not yet been determined.
