San Diego post-hardcore favorites Pierce the Veil is currently headlining the No Guts, No Glory Tour along with Miss May I, Woe, Is Me, letlive., and The Amity Affliction. As frontman and co-founder Vic Fuentes told Noisecreep, it's good to be back in the headliner saddle once more.

Judging from the reaction at the House of Blues in L.A. the other night, it looks like the tour is going well so far.

It's been amazing. We haven't headlined in a long time so it's been good to see a lot of our fans like this and that night in particular was really special for us because all of our management people and people that work with the band with our new label Fearless Records were there. We all got to celebrate this moment where everything is happening the way we planned. This tour will be a highlight forever for us, I am sure.

You recently contributed the Bruno Mars tune 'Just the Way You Are' to the 'Punk Goes Pop 4' collection.

That was so much fun. They gave us a short list of tunes to pick one and I love Bruno and that song is right in my vocal range so we did it. His voice has so much soul. We're really happy with how that came out.

Isles & Glaciers, the '08 supergroup consisting of you guys, Chiodos, Emarosa, Cinematic Sunrise, The Receiving End of Sirens, Underminded and others, still gets talked about a lot. Any chance of reunion at any point?

Many of us have talked a lot about it. There are people who are really want to do it. But then there are issues. There so many bands involved, it's hard to get in the room together at the same time. Then it raises questions in terms of bands that don't really get along as well anymore because of members that come or go. So there are lots of random little things that may get in the way but I won't give up on it. But if we did it it would be 100% for the fans.

A lot of kids waited a while in line to get in and see you tonight. Who would you have waited for when you were growing up?

Growing up in San Diego, I can remember going with my brother to see bands like Pennywise and NOFX - good punk bands that were fast and tight. As for today, I would still wait in line to see Thrice... any day of the week.

What's next after this tour for Pierce the Veil?

Well, we go home for the holidays and then we start the new record. We're actually working on it now as we tour. We splurged and got a bus for this tour so we could set up a studio in the back lounge to start cutting demos. And I'll tell you what, everything is sounding really amazing so far. We're demoing tons of ideas and also looking for a producer right now.
