Philip Anselmo Warns Fans Not to Miss ‘Technicians of Distortion’ Tour

While he doesn't need to resort to hype to arouse interest in his music, that's just what Philip H. Anselmo did, in humorous, tongue-in-cheek fashion, with this first 'Technicians of Distortion' tour promo. When Philip talks, we listen. At least he makes it entertaining for us, right?

Making Xs on a map, he uses the "F" word a lot as he calls out the cities along the tour routing. In the clip, he reminds us that he knows that there are loads of headbangers in these regions, given his rich touring history and experience. He's clearly preparing himself for his tour and wearing a black, plush bathrobe while doing it.

He refers to tour opener Author & Punisher as a "crazy mother f---er," as if we'd expect anything less from an Anselmo tourmate. It's three entertaining minutes of self-promotion of the anything-but-shameless sort.
