Motorcycle enthusiast Bret Michaels, who has sold over 32 million albums, and actually has a motorcycle dirt track on his property, recently wrote the new official theme song for the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Season.

'Get Your Ride On' is a rollicking ode to the joys of hardcore cycling and Michaels brought in his old friend Phil Collen, from Def Leppard and Manraze fame, to play lead guitar on the track.

As Collen told Noisecreep exclusively, "Bret is an old friend of mine and so I couldn't wait to do this. It's a fun song and I had a really good time. I've always admired him, and especially recently as he has fought back from some health challenges. He's also a very easy guy to work with. He's feeling fantastic, he looks fantastic, he's strong, healthy and I really think people will love this new track."

Collen takes his health seriously. Next to guitar, the 54-year-old's other passion in life is physical fitness. He'll be returning, by popular demand, to the L.A. Fitness Expo on Jan. 28, 2012 to meet and sign autographs with his fans.

Collen will be accompanied by his longtime trainer, Muay Thai expert and world champion coach, Jean Carrillo. The two together have started a training program 'Physical Mechanics' which will focus on fitness regimens that range from first time workouts to extreme physical Muay Thai training. A fitness DVD and book are soon to follow.

Manraze, Collen's power trio featuring drummer Paul Cook (Sex Pistols) and bassist Simon Laffy (Girl) recently released a killer album called 'Punkfunkrootsrock' that Noisecreep heavily recommends.
