The countdown clock hit zero Monday (July 8) and Pearl Jam's big revelation was the announcement of their fall 2013 North American tour. The trek will be split into two legs and will keep the band on the road from mid-October into early December.

The first leg, which kicks off on Oct. 11 at Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center, will focus on the Eastern U.S. with the trek concluding with the band's still-to-be-determined headlining date at New Orleans' Voodoo Music Experience the weekend of Nov. 1-3. The second leg picks up in Nov. 15 at Dallas' American Airlines Arena and travels west with the fun wrapping up at a hometown show at Seattle's Key Arena on Dec. 6.

Public on-sales for tickets begin July 27 at 10AM local time. Meanwhile, there is a special ticket pre-sale drawing for current Pearl Jam Ten Club members that begins today. Visit www.pearljam.com/tickets for details. Ticket sales for the Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans are currently underway at the festival's website.

Pearl Jam have been working on a new album and there was some thought that an announcement concerning the disc might be made when the countdown hit zero. However, the title, release date and lead single still remain a mystery even though there have been rumors about each. Stay tuned for that information, which is expected to arrive in the near future.
